Directness is one of the groups' virtues and linked with a leveled feeling for musical heritage, it creates an organic presence of sound that is unique in the Slovenian artistic sphere. Still having enough humour and rompishness to not entangle itself in nooses of self-sufficiency, which is a common case for such musical collectives. Brencl banda's members have a touch for instruments and vocals, they never play one over another and don't take virtuosic trips that are only self-serving. While listening to their debut, it becomes obvious that they are having a really good time while playing. Evenmoreso, there is no impression that we are listening to a debut, but rather to music that has been living among us for a very long time. Brencl banda are an original incubator of traditional, a collective that has created ideal conditions for the further developement of musical heritage.
